Games session.

I had a great time in our gaming session on Friday and was shocked by how many gaming choices we had to explore, i haven't played games in ages and i surprised myself by how well i did. I really enjoyed the WII, Xbox and Xbox kinect as i was using my whole body which made the whole experience more fun. Also they were short games so i didn't get bored as there were lots of games to do. My least favourite games were the PS2 Prince of Persia and also the Avitar game on the DS and they were quite difficult to get in to the rhythm of the games and I'm sure if i had more time on these games i would have enjoyed them more.

this morning!!

ohhhh what a morning! i am not having the best morning ever...i was in the shower when my parents shouted "we're off to get a new door handle" as we've had lots of problems with the new one in the kitchen. I come out of the shower and walk in to the kitchen to find that i am stuck in my cold kitchen in my towel, due to my stupid kitchen door handle that only opens from one side...not impressed! I waited 15minutes for my parents to return and I've never moved so fast to get ready for uni...breaking the law the whole way here by driving waaay over the limit...oooooops! x

todays debate

Today we had a debate on computer games in education. I was a judge and even though it was hard to criticise my friends it was still very fun. It was interesting hearing both sides of the argument and even though i did lots of research myself i still learnt quite a lot listening to the debate. Although argument 'for' games won i understand that it was very difficult for 'against' to put their argument across as they believe that games are good in education if the balance is right.

Tralagar origins

I played trafalgar origins in ICT today and got very frustrated, it was an interesting game and had some historical facts but if i spent more time on the game im sure i would have enjoyed it a lot more. I felt like a little child and couldnt wait to get to the next levels. The screaming noices when you killed people was a little bit disturbing lol.

BETT

Had my first BETT experience last week and had so much fun, i found out lots of interesting things and spoke to many interesting people. I enjoyed speaking to the FROG company about their interactive learning platform and while me and Rhiannon were learning Gemma went and stole a couple of FROG mugs =) We then went on a tresure hunt which was very fun.
The following day we woke up early (without hangovers) and spent the day looking around the National History Museum, Harrods and also Convent Garden. x

christmas hols.

Had a awsom christmas and a brilliant new year, i got really spoilt with lots of prezzies =), went out drinking and partying and also went to see mama mia with the ladies in my family. Can't wait to go on the London trip next wekk....woohoooo! x

My brain is frazzled!

2 hours of maths is simply too many hours, multiplication first thing on a wednesday....uchhh!
Nooo sleep lastnight at all, CRAMP in my leg awcchhh.
At leaste we're half way through the week annnnnddddd i booked a holidays lastnight Woop Woop!!
